Well, this year the tomatoes are starting to die a bit early.  My schedule didn’t work out for me to plant a second round of lettuce & broccoli.  Yet, I left the broccoli up for awhile. I pulled one up the other day, ripped off the branches & spread it by my tomatoes & pumpkins.  It should help the soil.  The broccoli I didn’t pull started producing broccoli again once it got chillier.  The lettuce possibly self-seeded, but I need to check on that…
